Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus on Wednesday!

Similarly, S&P BSE Smallcap index climbed 321 points to reach the 29,471.55 level.

The key equity indices continued to trade with major gains in the mid-afternoon trade, tracking strong global cues. S&P BSE Sensex is trading at a level of 59,794.66 after surging 653 points. Nifty 50 index also jumped 210 points, reaching 17,832.95 points.  

  

Similarly, S&P BSE Smallcap index climbed 321 points to reach the 29,471.55 level. The top gainers of the index include Shree Renuka Sugars, Sastasundar Ventures, Heidelbergcement India, Jubilant Pharmova, and Lancer Container Lines.  

  

The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Wednesday, September 21, 2022:  

  

Seshasayee Paper & Boards: The company announced that it has emerged as the successful bidder in the e-auction held today for the acquisition of the assets (land, building, plant & machinery) of Servalakshmi Paper Limited (Corporate Debtor - In Liquidation), on liquidation on a going concern basis. The shares of Seshasayee Paper & Boards reached a new 52-week high of Rs 315 per share on September 20.  

  

Dish TV India: The shares of Dish TV India touched their upper circuit in today's trading session after surging 20 per cent. It traded at Rs 18.44 per share. The stock rose over 16 per cent in the last two trading sessions. The company delivered its highest PAT of Rs 674.13 crore in June quarter.  

  

Bengal & Assam Company: The company made a new 52-week high after soaring more than 7 per cent on seeing high volume in trading. The shares of Bengal & Assam Company Ltd reached Rs 3,349 per share on September 19. The company recorded the highest net profit of Rs 4,167.29 crore in the June quarter. PAT also rocketed by Rs 243.10 crore in the same quarter. The debt-to-equity ratio has also been the lowest at 1.22 per cent in June quarter.  

  

Vesuvius India: The shares of Vesuvius India made a new 52-week high on September 20 after climbing more than 10 per cent today. The company's shares reached a price of Rs 1,620 per share. The rise was seen as a result of a spurt in the trading volume of more than 2.12 times. The operating profit to net sales has been the highest at Rs 40.98 crore. The net sales showed the highest growth of 329.65 per cent on a quarterly basis.  

  

52-week high stocks: AIA Engineering, Arman Financial Services, Craftsman Automation, Escorts Kubota, and Gujarat Fluorochemicals.
