HFCL: The company announced that it has received purchase orders aggregating to nearly Rs.115 crores, from Reliance Projects & Property Management Services Limited for supply of optical fiber cables to one of the leading private telecom operators of the country. As a result, high volume of trading was seen in the stock and the shares of HFCL rose by almost 8 per cent and closed at Rs 82.20 per share.
Ramkrishna Forgings: Ramkrishna Forgings is one of the leading suppliers of rolled, forged and machined products. The company informed that it has won a contract from a major Tier 1 manufacturer of rear & front axles for a 4-year period, for the supply for heavy duty commercial vehicles for its European application. The order is worth nearly Rs 113.16 crores (Euro 13.8 million). The stock price rose by more than 3 per cent and closed at Rs 229 per share.
PTC Industries: The company, PTC Industries is a manufacturer of high-quality engineering metal components for various critical and super-critical applications. It has signed an agreement with BAE Systems to manufacture titanium castings for the Indian 155mm M777 Ultra-Lightweight Howitzer (ULH), at PTC Industries’ production facility in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. The shares of PTC Industries surged by 5 per cent and were locked in the upper circuit at Rs 2,959.30 per share.
RACL Geartech: The company declared its second quarter results on October 29. The Q2 sales have grown by 12 per cent and the EBITDA is up by 29 per cent. The stock was locked in the upper circuit at Rs 652.35 per share. As a result, the stock has jumped by almost 20 per cent and was locked in the upper circuit at Rs 637.05 per share.
