Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus on Monday!

On Friday, the Sensex dipped by 202 points to close at 64,948.66, while Nifty 50 dipped by 55 points to close at 19,310.15. Among the BSE Smallcap gainers were Gabriel India, Vimta Labs, Bhageria Industries, Krsnaa Diagnostics and Welspun Enterprises.

The following Small-Cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Monday, August 21, 2023: 

Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works: The company informed the exchange that it has received a work order from Myanmar Port Authority. The order involves dredging and maintenance of the Yangon River. The order marks the company’s second contract from Myanmar and the contract is to be executed within a period of six months from October 1, 2023. The order is worth USD 2,199,990.

Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Ltd is primarily engaged in the business of owning, chartering/ hiring along with manning, operation and technical maintenance of marine crafts and repairs/ maintenance of marine crafts and marine infrastructure and allied works in India.

GE Power India: The company announced that it has received an order worth Rs 444 crore. The order is from Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited for design, engineering, manufacture, supply, shop testing, packing & forwarding, installation commissioning & PG testing of the FGD System as per the letter of intent.

GE Power India Ltd is engaged in business of engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) of key equipment for thermal and hydro power plants.

Zen Technologies: The company has received an order worth Rs 64.97 crore from the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The order is related to the supply of simulators and will be delivered within 18 months from LOI.
