Paras Defence and Space Technologies: The company informed the exchange that it has been awarded a contract by Instrument Research & Development Establishment (IRDE), a division of the Ministry of Defence, DRDO, Government of India, for the realisation of Optronic Periscopes. The contract includes installation support and is valued at around Rs 53 crore.
Welspun Corp: The company announced that it’s subsidiary, Welspun DI Pipes Limited, has obtained the BIS license for 1200DN K7, K8, and K9, covering the full range of 80-1200DN for ISI marking. Mr. Vipul Mathur, Managing Director and CEO of Welspun Corp Limited, expressed pride in being one of the few players in the domestic market with a license for the complete range of DI pipes.
SJVN: The company reported that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO) for the development of 5,000 MW renewable energy projects in the state of Maharashtra.
