Amara Raja Batteries: The company declared a healthy quarter profit with 19 per cent increase in revenues. The shares of Amara Raja batteries, as a result saw a surge in trading volume, up by 36 per cent and hence was locked in the upper circuit at Rs 571.75 per share.
Dhanuka Agritech: Dhanuka Agritech, one of the leading agro-chemical companies in the country, has set up a new research, development and training centre at Palwal in Haryana with an investment of Rs 10 crore. Dhanuka Agritech has developed a state-of-art Research & Training Centre for farmers. The shares of Dhanuka Agritech have appreciated by nearly 1 per cent and closed at Rs 726 per share.
JMC Projects (India): The company announced today that it secureed new orders of Rs 2,277 crores. As a result, there was a spurt in the trading volume by more than 3.81 per cent and the shares of JMC projects made a new 52-week high of Rs 115.80 per share.
Kalpataru Power Transmission: The shares of Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited rose by 1 per cent and closed at Rs 479 per share. The company is a leading global EPC player in the power and infrastructure contracting sector and its subsidiaries have secured new orders worth Rs 1,290 crores at individual level. The contract consists of orders in overseas market in the T&D business, water projects in India, oil & gas pipeline works in India, B&F projects in India and railway works in India.
