Among the Nifty gainers were SBI Life Insurance, Ultra Tech Cement, Larsen & Toubro, HCL Technologies and Cipla while Divis Labs, Reliance, BPCL, Axis Bank and Tata Motors were among the Top Losers.

The orders for supply of 43 GBPS is on Gross Cost Contract (GCC) basis for a period of 1 year.
Mercantile Ventures: The company informed the exchange that it has acquired 92,11,256 equity shares of Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals and Fertilizers at prevailing market prices, with the company having 7.56 per cent stake in the acquired firm.
TruCap Finance Limited: The company informed the exchange that they have entered into a business correspondent arrangement with Shivalik Small Finance Bank wherein TruCap will originate new business for Shivalik and help in scaling up their customer base in small business and MSME segment.
