Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus on Friday!

Towards the close of the trading session, the Indian equity markets gained momentum.

Towards the close of the trading session, the Indian equity markets gained momentum. The Sensex saw growth of 0.36 per cent to close at 59,756.84 today, while the Nifty 50 saw growth of 0.46 per cent to close at 17736.95 level.  

  

The following Small-Cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Friday, October 28, 2022:  

  

Aster DM Healthcare: On October 26, 2022, the Dr. Ramesh Cardiac Multispeciality Hospital Private Limited, subsidiary of Aster DM Healthcare Limited made a Rs. 0.51 crore (51% of the capital contribution) to Komali Fertility Centre Ongole LLP. The shares of Aster DM Healthcare have surged by nearly 1 per cent and ended the day at Rs 246.10 per share.  

  

Kaveri Seed CompanyThe board of directors of Kaveri Seed Company Limited discussed and accepted the proposal for the buyback of the Company's fully-paid equity securities with a face value of Rs. 2 each (the "Equity Shares") for a total not to exceed 125 crores. The maximum price per share on the open market is Rs 700. The shares soared by nearly 6 per cent and closed at Rs 483 per share.  

  

Menon Bearings: The company informed the exchange on the auspicious day of Diwali Padwa that the company's executive chairman, Mr. Nitin Menon, announced the opening of a new manufacturing line for brake linings for trial production. The company share has delivered 18.74 per cent on a YTD basis beating the benchmark indices.  

  

Ahluwalia Contracts (India)The company announced that it has received orders for construction work on the Amity Campus in Hyderabad, Telangana, from an educational foundation valued at 60 crores of rupees and for Muthoot Hospital Pvt. Ltd., valued at around 43 crores of rupees. The order inflow during the FY2022-23 stands at Rs.3114.72 crores, till date.  

  

52-week high stocks: Bharat Dynamics, CMS Info Systems, Blue Star, Ganesha Ecosphere, and Gujarat Themis Biosyn.
