KPI Green Energy: In an announcement, the company informed that it has received a new order for executing a Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project of 5.40 MW (comprising 5.40 MW Wind Turbine and 4 MWdc Solar) capacity from Greenlab Diamonds LLP (Surat) under captive power producer (CPP) business segment of the company. The shares of KPI Green rose almost 5 per cent to trade at Rs 434.85 per share.
Venus Pipes & Tubes: Venus Pipes & Tubes Ltd, a leading manufacturer of stainless pipes & tubes, has approved a capacity expansion of Rs 50 crore for a bigger diameter tube mill to manufacture stainless steel welded pipes. Post completion of both these capacity expansion projects, the total welded capacity will increase by almost three times from the current 700 MT per month to 2,000 MT per month by FY24. Apart from this, the additional 500 MT per month (on the existing capacity of 300 MT per month) for seamless pipes/tubes is on track.
Kirloskar Oil Engines: Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd (KOEL) today announced that it will acquire a balanced stake in La-Gajjar Machineries. KOEL acquired a 76 per cent stake in LGM in the year 2017 with an agreement that the balance holding will be acquired by KOEL over a five-year period. By completing the acquisition as per previously-agreed timelines, LGM will become a 100 per cent subsidiary of KOEL.
Choice International: The shares of this company climbed on the back of bonus issue news. The company announced a bonus issue of 1:1 i.e., for every one share held, has got a bonus share. Also, a surge in the trading volume was seen, which resulted in the stock reaching a new 52-week high.
