Kalyan Jewellers: One of India’s largest jewellery companies has announced that the brand is planning to increase its retail footprint by 13 per cent in the first quarter itself. The company plans to enhance operations across seven states and will add 14 new showrooms, all on April 24, 2021.   

Equitas Small Finance Bank: Equitas Small Finance Bank appoints new leaders in technology, digital, operations, HR, and affordable housing finance verticals.   

Biocon: Biocon Pharma partners with Libbs Farmaceutica to launch generic formulations in Brazil.   

Minda Industries: The board of Minda Industries approved the expansion plans in its two businesses i.e. four-wheel (4W) lighting and 4W alloy wheel, considering the improved market scenario and increased demand, wherein the said businesses have been operating at near capacity.   

HCL Technologies: HCL Technologies launches Digital Acceleration center in Canada.   

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders: The balance order book as of January 31, 2021 is Rs 50,705 crore.   

Wheels: The board has approved the company’s intention to sell the non-core, small-sized fabrication plant at Deoli.  

Eveready Industries: The company has initiated proceedings before the High Court at Calcutta on March 26, 2021, for recovery of certain amounts due in respect of the inter-corporate deposits (ICDs) along with other recoverable from Seajuli Developers & Finance Limited and Babcock Borsig Limited, the principal outstanding of which, amounts to Rs 270.80 crore and Rs 76.00 crore, respectively, along with accrued interests thereon as well as for recovery of the amount due in respect of capital advance for transfer of leasehold rights of a property, from Seajuli, the outstanding of which amounts to Rs 72.00 crore along with interest thereon.  

KRBL: The judicial custody of Anoop Kumar Gupta has been routinely further extended till March 30, 2021, as per legal procedure, pursuant to the order of Special Judge, Rouse Avenue Courts, dated March 27, 2021.  

Ind-Swift Laboratories: The board of directors has considered & approved to acquire an additional 52.28 per cent share capital in Fortune (India) Constructions Limited along with acquiring 100 per cent share capital of Halcyon Life Sciences Private Limited.   

Vascon Engineers: Vascon Engineers has received a letter of acceptance amounting to Rs 515.63 crore from Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department for the establishment of new medical colleges.  

NBCC: NBCC awards redevelopment work to NKG Infra.   

Adani Green Energy: The company has completed the acquisition of 100 per cent of the share capital along with all the securities of Spinel Energy & Infrastructure Limited from Hindustan Cleanenergy Limited and Peridot Power Ventures Limited.
