Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on February 17

At 3.30 pm on Thursday, the core equity indices i.e., Sensex and Nifty 50 saw a correction similar to the last trading session.

   

At 3.30 pm on Thursday, the core equity indices i.e., Sensex and Nifty 50 saw a correction similar to the last trading session. The Sensex was at 57,824, down by 172.68 points or 0.30 per cent, while Nifty was at 17,283.80 down by 38.40 points or 0.22 per cent from the last trading session.   

On the BSE, 1135 shares have advanced, 2000 shares declined, whereas 108shares are unchanged.    

The top gainers of Nifty 50 are Tata Consumer Products, HDFC Ltd, ONGC, Reliance Industries, HDFC Life Insurance Company, and Hindustan Unilever. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index are ICICI Bank, Ultratech Cement, Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, and United Phosphorous Ltd.  

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 27,568, up by 0.24 per cent. The top five gainers are Solara Active Pharma Sciences, Everest Industries, Schaeffler Industries, Texmaco Infrastructure, and Eveready Industries. Each of these stocks gained more than 10 per cent. Similarly, the top five stocks pulling the index down include Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances, Reliance Infrastructure, Sree Rayalaseema, Centrum Capital, and KRBL. 

Most of the sectoral indices followed suit and were trading bearish, except for BSE Power, BSE Energy and BSE Utilities, which were up by more than 1 per cent. 

Following is the list of low-priced stocks that made a fresh 52-week high on Thursday. Keep a close eye on these counters for the upcoming sessions.
