Smallcap Buzzers: BSE SmallCap Index outperforms, Kilpest zooms 5 per cent, Nelco Jumps 7 per cent, Punjab Chemicals top index gainer

The BSE SmallCap Index was seen outperperforming after recording gains of ~1 per cent on Thursday. Punjab Chemicals is the top small cap index gainer, up by more than 13 per cent while Hikal, Indoco Remedies and VIP industries are seen trading with gains of more than 8 per cent. 

Nelco is trading with gains of more than 7 per cent and is seen trading at fresh 52 week highs. Jubilant Ingrevia also made a fresh 52-week high on Thursday and is seen trading down by 0.60 per cent in the morning session after witnessing profit booking at fresh highs. 

Alankit, Garvita , Apar Industries , GM Breweries, Rico Auto and Nectar Life are seen trading with gains of more than 5 per cent each. 

Rattan Enterprises, Oricon Enterprises, Nitin Spinners, Rubfila International,Subex, Udaipur Cements, Sintex Industries and Lemon Tree Hotels are all seen trading with gains on Thursday in the early morning session on Thursday. Kilpest has gained by more than 5 per cent on an intraday basis. 

BSE Sensex even though trading with gains of more than 80 points has shed some early gains.
