Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on September 28

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices ended the trading session on Thursday in negative territory, with the Sensex down 0.92 per cent at 65,508 and the Nifty up 0.98 per cent at 19,524. About 1,613 shares have advanced, 2,050 have declined and 127 were unchanged on BSE.

The broader markets were in negative territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 1.19 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap index down 0.34 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were SJVN Ltd and Indian Overseas Bank, while the top small-cap gainers were Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd and Hindustan Oil Exploration Co. Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Capital Goods Index being one of the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index being one of the Top Losers.

The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies was Rs 3,16,83,720 crore or approx. Rs 317 lakh crore as of September 28, 2023. On the same day, 202 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 24 stocks touched a 52-week low.
