Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on September 26

The broader markets were in red territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 0.02 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 0.39 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the green on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.78 per cent at 85,836 and the Nifty-50 up 0.81 per cent at 26,216. About 1,686 shares have advanced, 2,293 shares have declined and 102 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,930.43 on September 26, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,250.90 on September 26, 2024.

The broader markets were in red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.02 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.39 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were NMDC Ltd, Steel Authority of India Ltd and One 97 Communications Ltd (Paytm). In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Prataap Snacks Ltd, Entertainment Network (India) Ltd and Refex Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Metals Index and BSE Auto Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.77 lakh crore or USD 5.70 trillion as of September 26, 2024. On the same day, 257 stocks hit a 52-week high while 46 stocks touched a 52-week low.
