Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on September 06

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in red on Friday with the Sensex down 1.24 per cent at 81,184, and the Nifty-50 down 1.17 per cent at 24,852. About 1,403 shares have advanced, 2,544 shares have declined and 87 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 82,725.28 on September 02, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 25,333.65 on September 02, 2024.
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 1.41 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.96 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Tata Technologies Ltd and Solar Industries Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are VST Industries Ltd, Rama Steel Tubes Ltd and Godfrey Phillips India Ltd.
On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in red with the BSE Telecommunication Index; BSE Energy Index and BSE Oil & Gas Index being the Top Gainers which plunged over 2 per cent each.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.60 lakh crore or USD 5.49 trillion as of September 06, 2024. On the same day, 289 stocks hit a 52-week high while 36 stocks touched a 52-week low.
