Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on October 25

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.37 lakh crore or USD 5.20 trillion as of October 25, 2024.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the red on Friday with the Sensex down 0.83 per cent at 79,402 and the Nifty-50 down 0.90 per cent at 24,181. About 842 shares have advanced, 3,100 shares have declined and 79 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 1.48 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 2.44 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Thermax Ltd, Laurus Labs Ltd and CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Rajoo Engineering Ltd, Advait Infratech Ltd and Indo Tech Transformers Ltd.

On the sectoral front, all the indices trading in red with the BSE Utilities Index was the the only top gainer while the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Services Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.37 lakh crore or USD 5.20 trillion as of October 25, 2024. On the same day, 117 stocks hit a 52-week high while 219 stocks touched a 52-week low.
