Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on October 24
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 0.13 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 0.72 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the red on Thursday with the Sensex down 0.02 per cent at 80,065 and the Nifty-50 down 0.15 per cent at 24,399. About 1,592 shares have advanced, 2,337 shares have declined and 104 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.13 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.72 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd, Adani Wilmar Ltd and Crisil Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are CARE Ratings Ltd, Apollo Micro Systems Ltd and Piramal Pharma Ltd.
On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Utilities Index and BSE Bankex Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE FMCG Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Losers.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.44 lakh crore or USD 5.28 trillion as of October 24, 2024. On the same day, 129 stocks hit a 52-week high while 104 stocks touched a 52-week low.
