Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on October 23
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.48 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.93 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.17 per cent at 80,082 and the Nifty-50 down 0.15 per cent at 24,436. About 2,182 shares have advanced, 1,748 shares have declined and 101 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.48 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.93 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Coforge Ltd, Persistent Systems Ltd and One 97 Communications Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Deepak Fertilizers Ltd, Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd and Amber Enterprises Ltd.
On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Teck Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Power Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Losers.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.45 lakh crore or USD 5.30 trillion as of October 23, 2024. On the same day, 122 stocks hit a 52-week high while 163 stocks touched a 52-week low.
