Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on October 14
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.28 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.06 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the green on Friday with the Sensex up 0.73 per cent at 81,973 and the Nifty-50 up 0.66 per cent at 25,128. About 2,069 shares have advanced, 1,973 shares have declined and 153 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.28 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.06 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Kalyan Jewellers Ltd, Torrent Power Ltd and Federal Bank Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are HLV Ltd, 63 Moons Technologies Ltd and SJS Enterprises Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Bankex Index and BSE Realty Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Metals Index and BSE Oil & Gas Index were the Top Losers.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.63 lakh crore or USD 5.52 trillion as of October 14, 2024. On the same day, 249 stocks hit a 52-week high while 26 stocks touched a 52-week low.
