On Monday at 03:30 pm, the benchmark Indian indices ended the trading session lower with the BSE Sensex Index down 1.52 per cent at a level of 58,237.85 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index down 1.4 per cent at 17,154.30.   

The broader market indices were trading lower, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 1.82 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 2.08 per cent, respectively. About 772 shares have advanced, 2,829 declined and 156 are unchanged on BSE.
