Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on June 27
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.39 lakh crore or USD 5.26 trillion as of June 27, 2024.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the green on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.72 per cent at 79,243, and the Nifty-50 up 0.74 per cent at 24,045. About 1,524 shares have advanced, 2,375 have declined and 109 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 79,396.03 on June 27, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 24,087.45 on June 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.17 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.57 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Macrotech Developers Ltd, Vodafone Idea Ltd and SJVN Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Indo Amines Ltd, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd and Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Power Index and BSE Information Technology Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Industrials Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Losers.
