Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on June 04
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 8.07 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 6.79 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 5.74 per cent at 72.079.05, and the Nifty-50 down 5.93 per cent at 21,885. About 488 shares have advanced, 3,349 have declined and 97 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 76,738.89 on June 03, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 23,338.70 on June 03, 2024.
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 8.07 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 6.79 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Sun TV Network Ltd, United Breweries Ltd and Abbot India Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Heritage Foods Limited, Moschip Technologies Ltd and Aditya Vision Ltd.
On the sectoral front, all the the indices were trading in red due to election results today with the BSE Power Index, BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Utilities Index being the Top Losers which plunged over 10 per cent each.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 395 lakh crore or USD 4.73 trillion as of June 04, 2024. On the same day, 139 stocks hit a 52-week high while 292 stocks touched a 52-week low.
