Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on July 19
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 2.31 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 2.22 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the red on Friday with the Sensex down 0.91 per cent at 80,605, and the Nifty-50 down 1.09 per cent at 24,531. About 906 shares have advanced, 3,014 have declined and 90 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 81,588 on July 19, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 24,855 on July 19, 2024.
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 2.31 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 2.22 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Page Industries Ltd, Emami Ltd and Astral Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are VST Industries Ltd, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) and GE Power India Ltd.
On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading red with the BSE Metals Index, BSE Commodities Index and BSE Energy Index being the Top Losers which plunged over 2 per cent each.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.46 lakh crore or USD 5.34 trillion as of July 19, 2024. On the same day, 194 stocks hit a 52-week high while 27 stocks touched a 52-week low.
