Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on July 16

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the green on Monday with the Sensex up 0.06 per cent at 80,717, and the Nifty-50 up 0.11 per cent at 24,613. About 2,002 shares have advanced, 1,009 have declined and 97 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 80,898.30 on July 16, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 24,661.25 on July 16, 2024.

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.29 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.32 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Piramal Enterprises Ltd, Bharat Forge Ltd and Vedant Fashions Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Vascon Engineers Ltd, Sportking India Ltd and Pearl Global Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Fast Moving Consumer Goods Index and BSE Realty Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Industrials Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Losers.
