Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on July 15
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.55 lakh crore or USD 5.45 trillion as of July 15, 2024.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the red on Monday with the Sensex up 0.18 per cent at 80,665, and the Nifty-50 up 0.35 per cent at 24,587. About 2,039 shares have advanced, 2,001 have declined and 128 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 80,893.51 on July 12, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 24,635.05 on July 15, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.95 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.21 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Overseas Bank Canara Bank and Vodafone Idea Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Geojit Financial Services Ltd, SpiceJet Ltd and HBL Power Systems Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Energy Index and BSE Oil & Gas Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Losers.
