Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on January 15
The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 73,402.16 and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,115.55 on January 15, 2024.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positively on Monday with the Sensex up 1.05 per cent at 73,328 and the Nifty-50 up 0.93 per cent at 22,097. About 2,102 shares have advanced, 1,843 have declined and 115 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 73,402.16 and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,115.55 on January 15, 2024.
The broader markets were in positive territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.67 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.11 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd, SJVN Ltd and Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Dredging Corporation of India Ltd, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd and Man Industries Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Information Technology Index being the Top Gainers and the BSE Metals Index being the Top Losers.
The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies was Rs 3,76,14,391 crore or approx. Rs 376 lakh crore as of January 15, 2024. On the same day, stocks hit a 52-week high while 14 stocks touched a 52-week low.
