Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on February 07
The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies was Rs 3,89,65,747 crore or approx. Rs 390 lakh crore as of February 07, 2024.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.03 per cent at 72,210 and the Nifty-50 up 0.01 per cent at 21,930. About 2,264 shares have advanced, 1,601 have declined and 92 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 73,427.59 on January 16, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,126.80 on February 02, 2024.
The broader markets were in positive territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.38 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.38 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Yes Bank, Indian Overseas Bank and UCO Bank. In contrast, Gensol Engineering Ltd, Skippers Ltd and Genus Power Infrastructure Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Realty Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Teck Index were the Top Losers.
The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies was Rs 3,89,65,747 crore or approx. Rs 390 lakh crore as of February 07, 2024. On the same day, 531 stocks hit a 52-week high while 20 stocks touched a 52-week low.
