Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on December 11
The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 70,057.83 and NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 21,026.10 on December 11, 2023.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positively on Monday, with the Sensex up 0.15 per cent at 69,929 and the Nifty-50 up 0.13 per cent at 20,997. About 2,392 shares have advanced, 1,468 have declined and 175 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 70,057.83 and NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 21,026.10 on December 11, 2023.
The broader markets were in negative territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.16 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.44 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were GMR Airports Infrastructure Ltd, Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd and Tube Investments of India Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Cheviot Company Ltd, KPI Green Energy Ltd and GTL Infrastructure Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Commodities Index being one of the Top Gainers whereas the BSE Healthcare Index being one of the Top Losers.
The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies was Rs 3,51,09,126 crore or approx. Rs 351 lakh crore as of December 11, 2023. On the same day, 366 stocks hit a 52-week high while 27 stocks touched a 52-week low.
