Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on August 09
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 1.21 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.79 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the green on Friday with the Sensex up 1.04 per cent at 79,706, and the Nifty-50 up 1.04 per cent at 24,368. About 2,327 shares have advanced, 1,581 shares have declined and 98 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 82,129.49 on August 01, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 25,078.30 on August 01, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.21 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.79 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Trent Ltd, Sun TV Ltd and Canara Bank. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Rushil Décor Ltd, Gensol Engineering Ltd and NBCC (India) Ltd.
On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in green with the BSE Realty Index, BSE Auto Index, BSE Consumer Discretionary Index and BSE Information Technology Index being the Top Gainers which surged over 1.50 per cent each.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.50 lakh crore or USD 5.37 trillion as of August 09, 2024. On the same day, 247 stocks hit a 52-week high while 30 stocks touched a 52-week low.
