Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on August 02

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 1.19 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 0.58 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the red on Friday with the Sensex up 1.08 per cent at 80,982, and the Nifty-50 down 1.24 per cent at 24,701. About 1,705 shares have advanced, 2,212 shares have declined and 116 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 82,129.49 on August 01, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 25,078.30 on August 01, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 1.19 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.58 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Clean Science and Technology Ltd, PB Fintech Ltd

and Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are SJS Enterprises Ltd, Neuland Laboratories Ltd and GHCL Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in green with the BSE Healthcare Index being the only top gainer while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Metals Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.62 lakh crore or USD 5.56 trillion as of August 02, 2024. On the same day, 264 stocks hit a 52-week high while 27 stocks touched a 52-week low.
