Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on April 29
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 406 lakh crore or USD 4.87 trillion as of April 29, 2024.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Monday with the Sensex up 1.28 per cent at 74,671, and the Nifty-50 up 1 per cent at 22,643. About 2,026 shares have advanced, 1,886 have declined and 176 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 75,124.80 on April 09, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 22,775.70 on April 09, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.79 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.07 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Supreme Industries Ltd, Indian Renewable Energy Development Ltd and Yes Bank. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Lloyds Engineering Works Ltd, Tejas Networks Ltd and Newgen Software Technologies Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Utilities Index and BSE Financial Services Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Services Index were the Top Losers.
