Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on April 24

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.16 per cent at 73,853, and the Nifty-50 up 0.15 per cent at 22,402. About 2,254 shares have advanced, 1,561 have declined and 114 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 75,124.80 on April 09, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 22,768.40 on April 09, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.92 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.79 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were United Breweries Ltd, Steel Authority of India Ltd and NMDC Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Yuken India Ltd and Geojit Financial Services Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Commodities Index and BSE Industrials Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Teck Index were the Top Losers.
