Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on April 19

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Friday with the Sensex up 0.83 per cent at 73,088, and the Nifty-50 up 0.69 per cent at 22,143. About 1,713 shares have advanced, 2,074 have declined and 116 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 75,124.80 on April 09, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 22,768.40 on April 09, 2024.
The broader markets were in mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.39 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.04 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Bayer CropScience Ltd, Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Ltd and APL Apollo Tubes Ltd.. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are IRM Energy Ltd, Solara Active Pharma Sciences Ltd and Elecon Engineering Company Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Bankex Index and BSE Financial Services Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Power Index were the Top Losers.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 393 lakh crore or USD 471 trillion as of April 19, 2024. On the same day, 174 stocks hit a 52-week high while 19 stocks touched a 52-week low.
