At the closing bell on Wednesday, the benchmark Indian indices were trading higher with the BSE Sensex Index up 0.39 per cent at a level of 60,392.77 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index up 0.51 per cent at 17,812.40.
The broader market indices were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.57 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.41 per cent, respectively. About 2,085 shares have advanced, 1,414 declined and 116 are unchanged on BSE.
