Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on April 05
The broader markets were in positive territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.50 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.50 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Friday with the Sensex up 0.03 per cent at 74,248, and the Nifty-50 up 0.01 per cent at 22,514. About 2,424 shares have advanced, 1,424 have declined and 100 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 74,501.73 on April 04, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 22,619 on April 04, 2024.
The broader markets were in positive territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.50 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.50 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd, Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd and SJVN Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Indraprastha Medical Corporation Ltd, Automotive Stampings & Assemblies Ltd and NBCC (India) Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with BSE Realty Index and BSE Financial Services Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Losers.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 399 lakh crore or USD 4.79 trillion as of April 05, 2024. On the same day, 215 stocks hit a 52-week high while 9 stocks touched a 52-week low.
