Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Friday, with the Sensex down 0.59 per cent at 75,288.71 and the Nifty-50 down 0.53 per cent at 22,791. About 1,608 shares have advanced, 2,278 shares have declined and 127 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 1.21 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.53 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Godrej Industries Ltd, JSW Infrastructure Ltd and L&T Technology Services Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Religare Enterprises Ltd, IKIO Lighting Ltd and KDDL Ltd.
On the sectoral front, all the indices trading in red with the BSE Auro Index and BSE Energy Index were the Top Losers.
As of February 21, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4 lakh crore or USD 4.61 trillion. On the same day, 198 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 222 stocks touched a 52-week low.
