Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Friday with the Sensex down 1.22 per cent at 75,365 and the Nifty-50 down 1.49 per cent at 22,904. About 1,136 shares have advanced, 2,805 shares have declined and 135 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The top mid-cap gainers were Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd, Emami Ltd and Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Kaveri Seed Company Ltd, Excel Industries Ltd and Faze Three Ltd.
On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in the red with the BSE Commodities Index, BSE Energy Index, BSE Healthcare Index, BSE Industries Index, BSE IT Index, BSE Capital Goods Index, BSE Metals Index, BSE Oil & Gas Index, BSE Focused IT Index and BSE Realty Index plunging over 3 per cent each.
As of April 04, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.04 lakh crore or USD 4.74 trillion. On the same day, 66 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 89 stocks touched a 52-week low.
