Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today
As of April 02, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.13 lakh crore or USD 4.82 trillion.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.78 per cent at 77,617 and the Nifty-50 up 0.72 per cent at 23,332. About 2,863 shares have advanced, 1,091 shares have declined and 131 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.38 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.99 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Kalyan Jewellers India Ltd, Godrej Industries Ltd and Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Hester Biosciences Ltd, Baazar Style Retail Ltd and Gujarat Alkalies & Chemicals Ltd.
On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in the green with the BSE Consumer Durables Index, BSE Consumer Discretionary Index and BSE Realty Index surging over 1.5 per cent each.
As of April 02, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.13 lakh crore or USD 4.82 trillion. On the same day, 64 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 85 stocks touched a 52-week low.
