Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

As of March 18, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4 lakh crore or USD 4.61 trillion.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Tuesday with the Sensex up 1.53 per cent at 75,301 and the Nifty-50 up 1.45 per cent at 22,834. About 2,817 shares have advanced, 1,218 shares have declined and 124 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 2.10 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 2.73 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were One 97 Communications Ltd, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) and Torrent Power Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd, Sindhu Trade Links Ltd and Gulshan Polyols Ltd.

On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in the green with the BSE Realty Index, BSE Consumer Durables Index, BSE Industrials Index and BSE Consumer Discretionary Index surging over 2.5 per cent each.

As of March 18, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4 lakh crore or USD 4.61 trillion. On the same day, 65 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 294 stocks touched a 52-week low.
