Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 1.78 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.67 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.15 per cent at 76,520  and the Nifty-50 up 0.22 per cent at 23,205. About 2,121 shares have advanced, 1,841 shares have declined and 105 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.78 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.67 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Coforge Ltd, Persistent Systems Ltd and Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Cigniti Technologies Ltd, Zensar Technologies Ltd and Wockhardt Ltd

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Infomation Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Energy Index were the Top Losers.

As of January 23, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.29 lakh crore or USD 4.91 trillion. On the same day, 81 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 155 stocks touched a 52-week low.
