Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 2.13 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 2.40 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Friday with the Sensex down 0.31 per cent at 77,379 and the Nifty-50 down 0.40 per cent at 23,432. About 827 shares have advanced, 3,166 shares have declined and 85 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 2.13 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 2.40 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Persistent Systems Ltd, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd and Coforge Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Renaissance Global Ltd, Ramkrishna Forgings Ltd and Anand Rathi Wealth Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Power Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Losers.

As of January 10, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.30 lakh crore or USD 5 trillion. On the same day, 102 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 264 stocks touched a 52-week low.
