S&P BSE Sensex continued to decline even in January 2023. In January 2023, S&P BSE Sensex, S&P BSE Mid-Cap Index and S&P BSE Small-Cap Index returned negative 2.12 per cent, 2.65 per cent and 2.49 per cent, respectively. Investing in equity mutual funds has become increasingly popular in recent years, with the steady influx of systematic investment plan (SIP) flows indicating a growing interest in this asset class.
