Rs 83,221 Crore Order Book: Multibagger PSU Railway Company Emerges as L1 Bidder for 3 Projects in a Single Day – Stock Rallies 5 Per cent Today!

This Mid-Cap railway company RVNL is a rail infrastructure firm involved in projects such as doubling of tracks, gauge conversion, new rail lines, railway electrification, major bridges, workshops, and production units. The company has emerged as L-1 bidder for 3 projects on the same day.
- RVNL-RPPL (JV) has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) for “Package C4A” awarded by Rail Infrastructure Development Company (Karnataka) Limited (K-RIDE). This package involves the construction of nine stations—one elevated and eight at grade along Corridor-4A for the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP). The project includes stations at Heelalige, Singena Agrahara, Huskur, Ambedkar Nagar, Carmelaram, Bellandur, Marathahalli, Doddanakundi, and Kaggadasapura, covering civil and structural works, entry/exit structures, steel foot overbridges (FOBs), roof structures, PEB works, architectural finishes, E&M works, and comprehensive design and engineering (DOC) for all associated components.
- Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) - HFCL Limited – Aerial Telecom Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (ATS) Consortium has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) for the "Development (Creation, Upgradation, and Operation & Maintenance) of the Middle Mile Network of Bharat Net under the Design Build Operate and Maintain (DBOM) Model" from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). The project cost is Rs. 5008,20,35,544.26 (Rupees Five Thousand Eight Crore Twenty Lakh Thirty-Five Thousand Five Hundred Forty-Four Rupees and Twenty-Six Paisa Only).
- RVNL-SCPL (JV) has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) for a project awarded by Eastern Railway, involving "Earthwork in cutting and filling, blanketing, construction of minor and major bridges, RUB, ROB, retaining walls, level crossings, side drains, catch water drains, P-way work, and other ancillary works from IR Ch. 205.000 km to 260.2 km between Kalipahari (inclusive) to Pradhankhuta (exclusive) in connection with the construction of a multi-tracking Railway BG line." The project cost is Rs 837,67,19,698.44 (Rupees Eight Hundred Thirty-Seven Crore Sixty-Seven Lakh Nineteen Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-Eight and Paisa Forty-Four Only), inclusive of GST.

Stock Performance
Currently, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd's shares opened the day on a bullish note at Rs 465.05 per share, compared to the previous day's closing figure of Rs 450.90 per share on the BSE. The current market capitalization stands at Rs 97,578.94 crore, and the stock has generated an impressive multibagger return of over 200 per cent in just one year.
Financial Performance
As per the Quarterly Results, in Q1 FY25, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd recorded a revenue of Rs 4064 crore. The operating profit for Q1 FY25 stood at Rs 176 crore, and the net profit was Rs 218 crore. Looking at the annual performance, the company generated a revenue of Rs 21733 crore in FY24, compared to Rs 20282 crore in FY23. The operating profit for FY24 was Rs 1346 crore, with a net profit of Rs 1463 crore.
