Rs 5,280 Crore Order Book: Railway Telecom Company Bags New Order Worth Rs 288,14,67,426 From East Central Railway

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd (RCIL) has secured a significant work order from East Central Railway, valued at Rs 2,88,14,67,426 (including tax). This domestic contract entails the provision of "Kavach," an indigenous Train Collision Avoidance System, across 502.2 RKm of low-density railway track within the East Central Railway zone. The project is slated for completion by February 20, 2027.
Earlier, RailTel received a service order worth Rs 22,44,28,034 (including tax) from the High Court of J&K and Ladakh. This order involves the SITC (Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning) and O&M (Operation and Maintenance) of DC (Data Centre) infrastructure at the High Court. The contract, awarded by a domestic entity, is for services and other related work and is expected to be executed by August 19, 2025.
