Afcons Infrastructure Ltd has secured a significant contract from the Uttarakhand Project Development and Construction Corporation Ltd. The contract entails the execution of civil works, including hydrological and meteorological (HM) works, for the construction of a 130.6-meter-high concrete gravity dam and its associated structures across the Song River in Dehradun district, Uttarakhand. This Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project is valued at Rs 1,274 crore (excluding GST) and is slated for completion within 60 months.
Earlier, the company has secured the lowest bid (L1) for the construction of Bhopal Metro's Blue Line (Line-2), specifically Package BH-05. This 12.915 km elevated corridor will connect Bhadbhada Chauraha and Ratnagiri Tiraha, featuring 13 elevated stations and a ramp to the Subhash Nagar Depot. Funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB), the project is slated for completion within three years. In compliance with SEBI regulations, Afcons Infrastructure has officially announced its successful bid for this Rs 1,006.74 crore (excluding GST) EPC contract.
