Rossari Biotech gains on commencing Greenfield manufacturing facility in Gujarat
Rossari Biotech, a speciality chemical manufacturer, announced that it has operationalised all phases of its Greenfield manufacturing facility at Dahej (Gujarat) successfully.
The facility will be augmented in the coming quarters by R&D, automation, administration, and other corporate facilities. The facility brings higher cost efficiencies & economies of scale and also, is a state-of-the-art automated unit. The plant is in close proximity to Hazira Port, an upcoming deep-water and multi-cargo port of Dahej apart from the one coming up at Mundra. This will give the company leverage on cost & logistics.
The facility is recorded to have total installed capacity of 1,32,500 MTPA, enhancing the total capacity of Rossari by 2.1x to 2,52,500 MTPA. The company will be able to sustainably ramp-up utilisation levels at Dahej unit over the next 3-4 years with the upcoming pipeline of new product launches and also, new business line within the four core chemistries. The company reports this new facility to be the second manufacturing plant equipped with flexible & interchangeable capacities for its three business lines of HPPC, TSC and AHN. The company is encouraged knowing that its team was successful in launching facility on the scheduled time in spite of disruptions, owing to COVID-19.
