RattanIndia backed EV maker Revolt to open dealership in three new cities

With operations commencing in these new cities, Revolt will have its footprint across nine prominent Indian cities.

RattanIndia Enterprises backed Revolt, India’s market leader in electric motorcycles is set to expand its dealership network ahead of the upcoming festive season. The company has announced that it will be opening its new dealerships in three major cities namely Bangalore, Jaipur and Surat on October 18, 25 and 28 respectively. With operations commencing in these new cities, Revolt will have its footprint across nine prominent Indian cities. The company is working to further expand their pan-India network in the coming months.

Customers in Surat and Jaipur will get additional incentives with the states of Gujarat and Rajasthan have already announced the incentives for EV customers. Buyers will get rebates up to Rs 20,000 on electric bikes in Gujarat and incentives up to Rs 10,690 and a refund of 2.5 per cent State GST for electric bike customers in Rajasthan.  

With petrol prices soaring high like an eagle, Revolt has been witnessing robust demand for its electric bikes. Revolt electric bikes furnish great savings for customers with running costs as low as Rs 9 per 100 kilometres.

Revolt’s flagship model, the RV400 comes with a 3 KW (mid drive) motor, powered by a 72 V, 3.24 KWh lithium-Ion battery that can churn out a top speed of 85 km per hour. The bike can be operated through the ‘MyRevolt’ mobile app, which offers connectivity features such as bike locator/geofencing, customized sounds that you can change with just a tap on the screen, complete bike diagnostics, battery status, historical data on your rides and distance travelled.

RattanIndia Enterprises scrip gained more than 2 per cent to touch a high of Rs 45.50 per share during the early market hours on October 13, 2021 (Wednesday).
