The Quant Small-cap Fund showed a slight increase in its equity allocation, rising from 93.41 per cent to 93.88 per cent. The introduction of RBL Bank Ltd. and Adani Power Ltd. indicates a diversification towards banking and power sectors. Conversely, the removal of Orchid Pharma Ltd. and Adani Enterprises Ltd. suggests a shift away from pharmaceutical and conglomerate holdings.
In the Quant Mid-cap Fund, the equity allocation slightly decreased from 97.5 per cent to 96.13 per cent, with a corresponding rise in money market instruments. The inclusion of Linde India Ltd. suggests a new focus on industrial gases and engineering, while the exit of Bharat Forge Ltd. indicates reduced exposure to the automotive components sector. The reduction in Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.'s allocation points to a potential reassessment of the pharmaceutical sector's prospects.
These portfolio changes reflect dynamic fund management strategies to optimise returns and adjust sectoral exposures in response to market conditions.
