Q1FY21 results: Hindustan Aeronautics net profit drops by 73.68 per cent YoY
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Indian state-owned aerospace and defence company governed under the management of the Indian Ministry of Defence. The company announced its quarterly results on September 10, 2020. Hindustan Aeronautics posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 148.65 crore for Q1FY21, which declined by 73.68 per cent YoY, as compared to Q1FY20 when it reported Rs 564.69 crore.
The consolidated net sales reported in Q1FY21 came in at Rs 1,736.74 crore, which declined by 47.2 per cent YoY from Rs 3,289.47 crore in Q1FY20. At EBITDA level, the company stood at Rs 384.37 crore in Q1FY21 that decreased by 54.69 per cent YoY. For Q1FY20, it posted an EBITDA of Rs 848.39 crore.
EBITDA margin as of Q1FY21 was at 22.13 per cent that declined by 3.66 per cent YoY. The net profit margin in Q1FY21 came in at 8.56 per cent, which declined by 8.61 per cent YoY. The net profit margin in Q1FY20 was at 17.17 per cent.
The share closed with gains of 3.06 per cent at Rs 864.75 in today’s session on BSE. The share has a 52-week high of Rs 1,423.55 and a 52-week low of Rs 488 on BSE.
