The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies was Rs 3,09,25,854 crore or approx. Rs 309 lakh crore as of October 25, 2023.

Today, about 1,644 shares have advanced, 1,846 have declined and 152 were unchanged on BSE.

The broader market sentiment appears to be negative, with around 1,640 stocks declining and 1,861 stocks advancing.
