Fineotex Chemical reported its results for the quarter ended June 30, 2018. Fineotex Chemical consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 42.86 crore, registering 6.5 per cent yoy increase.

EBITDA for the quarter rose by 19.8 per cent yoy to Rs. 21.2 crore with a corresponding margin contraction of 795 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 15 per cent. The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 10.22 crore, yoy increase of 77.4 per cent.

Suven Life Sciences reported its results for the quarter ended June 30, 2018. The company’s standalone revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 191.66 crore, registering 35.9 per cent yoy increase. This was mainly driven by a jump in revenue from the manufacturing segment by 35.2 per cent yoy.

Through this acquisition, the company aims to expand its pharma manufacturing footprint, said the company's filing to the exchange. The cost of acquisition is Rs. 155.55 crore and the deal will be completed by the end of September 2018
